About the Author:
Author Lucy Nolan is the author of the Down Girl and Sit chapter books as well as two picture books, Jack Quack and A Fairy in a Dairy. A lifelong resident of Columbia, South Carolina, she admits to being inspired by the legend of the Lizard Man who roamed Lee County, South Carolina, in the summer of 1988 and whose whereabouts remain unknown.
Illustrator Jill Kastner has illustrated numerous picture books, including The Stone Dancers and Aurora Means Dawn, and is the author/illustrator of Snake Hunt and Barnyard Big Top. She lives in Weehawken, New Jersey.
