Jesus Loves Us Even Though: We are: Impractical, Impulsive, Impatient...Imperfect - Softcover

Reader, I'm just like you. I'm a busy wife, mother, grandmother and friend. I've been a Christian most of my life and I want nothing more than to serve God. That's what I had on my mind when I wrote JESUS LOVES US EVEN THOUGH... I wanted Him to use me as his typist. The problem was...I'm a really slow typist. It took me nearly 6 years (on and off) to write this book. Life kept getting in the way. When I finally heaved that last sigh of relief--when the final page was written--I thought, "Now what do I do?" It took another two years to get it published!

Now that it's here...it's like my baby and I'm loving watching where it goes and what's happening with it.

I'm only human. I'm a good person. I go to church on Sundays, donate to the Salvation Army, eat my broccoli and pay my taxes. I love my family, get along with my neighbors and I'm kind to strangers...mostly. I obey all the traffic rules and vote in every election. And, it must be said I've never kicked a puppy, taken candy from a baby or clubbed a baby seal! That's all got to count in my favor. Doesn't it? I'm only human and... Everyone makes mistakes. Right? I've made my fair share. I'll admit it. I've broken a commandment (or two) and taken the wrong path more than once. I've made bad choices and led others astray. I've told myself that little white lies are okay and harsh words are only words. And, I've done things to shame myself, my family and friends and most importantly my God. But, I've justified it all by telling myself that... Nobody's perfect. And that's very true. There has been only one perfect human being...ever...and I am certainly not He. The good news is, I know Him--personally--and He loves me! Jesus loves me even though I'm impractical, impulsive, impatient and imperfect. He loves me even though I'm often clueless and stubborn and sometimes mean. He even loves me in spite of my tendency to be sarcastic and bossy. He loves you, too! That's the wonderful message I have to share! Jesus Love Us...Even Though. There is redemption in His love. There is no selfish act, no wrong choice, no stupid mistake and no person--even our stubborn, reckless, incorrigible selves--who can come between us and the love of Christ! All we need do is confess our sins and ask for His Grace. He will always love us...no matter what! Jesus loves us, this I know. Jesus loves us...even though. How wonderful is that?
