Grade 5-8-Two well-written series entries. John Glenn chronicles the former astronaut's life from his boyhood in Ohio through his military service, his career with NASA, and tenure in the Senate. George Lucas (which carries the disclaimer "unauthorized biography" on the verso of the title page) also discusses its subject's early years but a good portion of the book is devoted to his creation of the Star Wars films, which should interest young fans. Each volume is effectively illustrated with numerous black-and-white and color photographs. Lucas also includes a filmography.
