Author George Blasiola, Marine Biologist B.S., M.A., is an internationally known specialist in marine fish biology, especially in the area of marine fish diseases. As Director of Research & Development and chief scientist for the Wardley Corporation, Mr. Blasiola led an expedition to the Philippines to investigate the effects of destructive fishing on coral reefs. Currently he is the owner/consultant for Aqua-Sphere Research. He is the author of over 100 articles in scientific journals and popular magazines and has lectured worldwide. He is a contributing editor to Freshwater and Marine Aquarium magazine and a consultant and contributing editor to Pet Age Magazine.
