About the Author:
Jim Davidson, born in Cortez, Colorado, has worked stints as a newspaper publisher, editor and columnist, mostly in the Colorado mountains. In between, he has lived a number of other lives and places, taking useful notes on the jobs, songs and stories of working people. Currently, he's building a straw-bale house in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of south-central Colorado.
