Student Multimedia CD-ROM for Rumbos

The unifying theme of the CD-ROM is to follow several different students on study-abroad experiences across the Spanish-speaking world. The activities for each lesson incorporate vocabulary and grammatical concepts from that lesson with the particular country studied used as a backdrop. Each lesson is aimed at the functional use of vocabulary and grammatical concepts as the language learner helps solve the fictitious students“ problems or face the challenges presented to students studying abroad. Each premise is setup by a short narrative describing the situation. Specific exercises within each lesson employ the topics from that lesson and are related to the overall function of that particular lesson.
