Alyssa Satin Capucilli is the author of Not This Bear and the ever-popular books about Biscuit, as well as Katy Duck, and many other wonderful stories. A former dancer, Ms. Capucilli lives in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, with her family.

Lorna Hussey is the illustrator of Not This Bear and the creator of Rabbit's Winter Walk and Little Lost Unicorn. She currently lives in Great Britain with her three horses, three dogs, four chickens, one rooster, three children, and one husband.
