About the Author:

David West is a designer and author with over a thousand projects, including books, to his credit. For Dinosaurs on My Street, David took inspiration from the Natural History Museum in London.

Thirty different dinosaurs are plucked from their respective time periods to roam the streets mingling with people, pets, cars etc. The young narrator, a boy, tells the reader a few facts about each antediluvian. A chart appears at the end of the book, describing facts about each dinosaur such as length, height, weight, diet, time period it lived in and location found. The author did the illustrations using a computer. His artwork is clever as well as stunning. His design makes the dinosaurs come alive and pop out of the page, often in a humorous way.
